Q&A's

What does the R.R.R. stand for?

As shown in our logo, R.R.R. is initialism for Ryder's Rocket Rebellion and is a way for the founder to honor her two sons, whose middle names are Ryder and Rocket.

How's the company name pronounced?

Officially, it's Triple R Threads.
(If you're a pirate it's R R R Threads)

Who formed R.R.R. Threads?

As a female mechanic, Agent "Ryder" felt compelled to start this company after frequently encountering sexist derogatory comments made to her while promoting her mobile mechanic business.

Agent "Bearrr" hopped on board to support his partner and began the prototypes and outsourcing the artworks with Agent "Ryder."

As a childhood friend of Agent "Ryder", Agent "Blazer" came in with his expertise of visuals, marketing, and branding and helped conceptualize the rebellion including paying tribute to Agent "Ryder's" sons.

The rest is history in the making. Feel free to read more about them below.

Where is R.R.R. Threads located?

Wouldn't you like to know? We are physically on the West Coast in the U.S. However, we have eyes across the world. *cue dramatic music*

Why form a Rebellion ?

Why not? Considering the current state of affairs, we wanted to be more than just another graphic t-shirt company; we want to form a niche community of individuals who not only push for equality and equity in society, but empower the disenfranchised as well. Forming a rebellion felt like a natural conclusion for us.

What organizations do you donate to?

We take your generosity seriously. As such, we take time in our vetting process and due diligence to ensure our collective donations are making the most impact within marginalized communities.

Currently, to honor transparency, with each collection drop we intend to change the organizations we donate to, and will announce who and what amounts on Instagram each time we find a great match.

Your stance on A.I. ?

Here at R.R.R. Threads, the issue of A.I. is a contentious one.

Even within the founding rebels we disagree to what extents, if any, A.I. should be implemented.

Agent "Ryder" has a firm stance on avoiding and straying as far away from its use as possible.

Agents "Bearrr" and "Blazer" are more open to the implementation with some thoughts to expand. Agent "Blazer" firmly believes A.I. shouldn't fully replace humans, but like how the internet shook up the 90s, phones went the way of handhelds, then social media disrupted lives, all were resisted and ultimately accepted; so too will A.I. It can be a source of many ills, or a key tool in eliminating gate keepers and barriers of entry for aspiring entrepreneurs and people wishing to alleviate their current livelihoods.

We understand the current impact it has on the environment as well.

All that said, what that means for us is we try to use it as a tool to build frameworks for our visuals, and try to then pass it off to real individuals/creatives to reimagine the frameworks and pay them accordingly when fiscally possible. After all, we are middle class individuals trying to make a living too.

Our shirts and merchandise will ALWAYS have real artists who designed our artworks by hand.

How do I help or join the rebellion?

At the moment, we need all the financial backing possible to be able to not only continue making innovative and creative content and items for sale, but to make our practice sustainable.

Almost all our proceeds are going to recover the costs of starting up and as such, you can help by buying our products, buying gift cards for your loved ones, or by simply donating. Once you do, you're officially apart of Ryder's Rocket Rebellion!

In the future we'd love to have meet ups and community days where we can all organize and help uplift each other. Until then stay tuned Rebels!

The Founding Rebels

AGENT: RYDERR

Since childhood, she has been trying to break out of boxes society wanted to place her in. She was a self described tom boy who played baseball, tetherball, dodgeball and didn't mind roughing it up in the spirit of fun.
She never understood why this bothered so many.

Then as a struggling single teen mother, she defied statistics imposed on her by graduating, attending a trade school, and started a successful mobile mechanic business with her partner (AGENT BEARRR) which she's run for over 7 years. She often donates her mechanic labor to underserved members of her community. She is a lover of all things horror and action.

AGENT: BEARRR

He is jack of all trades, but that's not the first thing people notice about him; his beard is a star in its own right, and that's the case even when its not a shade of salmon pink.

From dog groomer, to warehouse worker, BEARRR has a deep understanding of what it means to be a hard working American. His work in the mechanic field lead him to his marriage with his partner (AGENT RYDERR) and he has been supportive of her/their business from the inception. He too is a horror aficionado, enjoys a good brew, knives, and snuggling with their red nose pitty, Kali.

AGENT: BLAZER

A maverick in his own right, his code name is double entendre for his support of cannabis and love of a good fashion staple. He too grew up wondering why simply existing as a queer Mexican inflamed people. As an adult, he realized he needed to be a voice for those who felt suppressed and scared to be themselves.

Through photography, visuals, and concept, he brings stories to life and is at service to those who feel unseen. He has over 16 years experience in these fields, graduated from San Jose State University with a BFA, and is a lover of art that aims to expand/challenge people's minds and hearts. His current obsession is the film "The Substance".
